The exhibit explores the series of trade routes that linked Europe and Asia for more than a thousand years, and at their peak reached from Venice to Japan. Follow the silk road along the National Mall and experience the cultures and traditions of the Mediterranean world, Persia, India, Central Asia, China, Korea and Japan.
